See what our guests are saying about their visit to the June 5th Memorial park

Very well kept and clean . Philadelphia takes pride in how the world see’s them.

The park is dedicated to six victims of tragic demolition accident on June 5, 2013. The park was formerly occupied by Salvation Army Thrift Store and later donated to June 5th committee. There are many symbolism within the park to memorialize the precious lives lost, and hopefully, lesson learned from the tragedy will not repeat.
One of the most emotional and powerful design decision was the six dots placed on the walking path of the park; each dot represent the location of where accident victims were found.

A great memorial to a more recent tragedy in Philadelphia.
